Two chains, worn together: the shorter one carries a single round claw-set stone, the longer one a cross built entirely of round stones held shoulder to shoulder in shared claws — six down the upright, three across each arm. Because the lengths are set for each other, the layering holds its spacing instead of sliding. Both chains are fine cable, adjustable between 400 and 450 mm. What is the Vêpres Layered Set made of?
925 sterling silver, solid all the way through, set with brilliant-cut moissanite: more fire than a same-size diamond and a hardness just beneath it. VVS1 clarity, and a certificate comes with it. Will the Vêpres Layered Set tarnish?
Sterling darkens with air over time; that is expected and reversible. A proper silver polishing cloth restores it in seconds, and the moissanite takes warm soapy water and a soft brush, because it is hard enough to take it. Store it in its pouch, away from bathrooms and windowsills, and it stays bright between wears.
How long are the chains?
Both chains are fine cable and adjustable between 400 and 450 mm, and the spacing between them is fixed, so the layering holds its place instead of sliding. Clasp them at the length that suits the neckline, and fasten the clasps before you store them so the chains never knot. For a length we do not list, write to hello@amaurine.com.
How do I look after the Vêpres Layered Set?
Four habits: last on, first off; keep it dry, so off before the shower, the pool and the gym; a soft cloth after wearing; and its own pouch between wears. Thirty days from the day it arrives. Email hello@amaurine.com with your order number; we reply with a Sydney return address. Send it back unworn, in its packaging with pouch and cards, and we refund the price within three business days of receiving it. Return postage on a change of mind is yours; a fault is always ours.
