These terms apply when you use amaurine.com or buy from us. By placing an order you accept them.
Who we are
Amaurine is a trading name of Pique Your Interest Pty Ltd, an online jewellery retailer based in Sydney, New South Wales.

Prices and currency
All prices on this site are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you the dispatch confirmation, and the contract between us is formed at that moment. Until then we may decline an order — if we do, we tell you why and refund you in full.
We may limit or decline quantities on any piece.
Pricing and stock errors
If a piece is listed at the wrong price, or is unavailable after you have ordered, we contact you and give you the choice: we honour it, we offer you an alternative, or we refund you in full. We never charge you a difference without asking first.
Payment
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and, where offered, by other providers shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number. If a payment is declined or reversed we may hold or cancel the order.
Delivery
Delivery is covered by our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in a piece passes to you on delivery.
Returns
Returns are covered by our Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
Our thirty-day change-of-mind return is a voluntary offer we make on every piece we sell, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. It is not a limit on those rights. A faulty, damaged or not-as-described piece is not a change of mind, and the thirty days does not apply to it.
Product descriptions, photography and materials
We describe every piece by the standard it is built to, and the material statement on the product page is the one that governs. Where a claim is specific to a particular piece — a stone type, a certificate, a plating standard — it applies to that piece and to no other.
Photography and screen calibration vary, so colour and scale on a screen are a guide rather than a measurement. Handmade and natural elements vary between pieces, and that variation is not a fault.
Consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right, warranty or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. If any part of these terms would do so, that part does not apply.
Our liability
Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to one of the following, at our option: replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or refunding the price paid. Where the law does not allow that limit — which includes most goods bought for personal, domestic or household use — the limit does not apply and your full rights stand.
We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, and we do not exclude liability for anything arising from our own fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded by law.
Using this site
You may use this site to browse and to buy. You may not interfere with it, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, scrape it at a scale that affects other people, or use it to send anything unlawful. We may suspend access if you do.
Accounts
If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.
Discounts and promotions
Discount codes are single-use per customer unless we say otherwise, cannot be combined unless we say otherwise, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or expire. We may cancel an order placed with a code that has been misused or published without our permission.
Intellectual property
The Amaurine name, wordmark, photography, product copy and site design belong to us. You may share them; you may not sell them, pass them off as your own, or use them to sell someone else's jewellery.
Third-party links
Where we link to another site, we do not control it and we are not responsible for it.
Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. It forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the version that governs that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of that state, and this does not limit any right you have to bring a matter before a tribunal or regulator elsewhere in Australia.
