Rhodium-plated silver, set with freshwater pearls and clear pavé stones. That is the maker’s own specification, published as given, and it is the wording we use. Every Amaurine piece names its metal, its finish and its stone on its own page, in the same words as our published standards.

Rhodium holds its white colour, and on this piece it is the surface: rhodium-plated silver. The plating sits over the silver and shields it, so keep the surface and you keep the finish. Last on, first off; off before water; a soft dry cloth after wearing; its pouch between wears. Leave silver dips and polishing cloths for solid silver: they work by lifting a surface layer, and here that layer is the rhodium. Every finish is covered by our 12-month craftsmanship warranty.

Each earring is 14.6 mm long and 8.9 mm wide, with an 8.9 mm round freshwater pearl beneath the pavé motif — a drop you can wear to work. They sit on posts, so put them in clean and dry, take them out before you sleep, and keep perfume and hairspray off them. The maker does not publish the silver standard for this piece, so if a particular metal troubles you, write to hello@amaurine.com before you order and we will confirm the components.

A dry, soft cloth, and nothing more. Silver dips, polishing cloths and abrasive creams are made to lift a surface layer, which on this piece is the rhodium you want to keep. If it needs more than a wipe: warm water, a drop of mild soap, then dry it completely. Last on, first off, and its own pouch between wears. The full routine is on our care page. The pearls are organic, so keep perfume, hairspray and cleaning products away from them: put the piece on last and take it off first, wipe the pearls with a soft damp cloth after wearing, and let them dry fully before they go away. Never use a silver dip or an ultrasonic cleaner on a pearl.

Send it back unworn, in its packaging with pouch and cards and the hygiene seal intact, and we refund the price within three business days of receiving it.
